Frogger (1997)

Retro level is fun, but the rest is just overly complicated.

Frogger is a decent game. The original arcade game is kind of fun, and you pretty much get that as the first level of the game. That first level has about 5 different difficulty levels, which is cool. That first level is pretty fun. Now try the second level, where you have 60 seconds to find the little frog thing on a huge map that's extremely difficult to traverse. That's where the fun ends. The rest of the levels are either really hard or just way too big and complicated, it fails to retain what Frogger is supposed to be: a simple game where you play as a frog trying to get across the road. I enjoy playing the first level, and then when I try another I only get frustrated and don't have any fun. So I don't really recommend you get this game unless you're an avid Frogger fanatic, you'll probably like it in that case. Otherwise you might as well forget about this game.
