Good idea.... bad game...
Gameplay: 3
Games haven't been this inaccurate in gameplay since the intellivision. You don't block shots when you think you should be able to. Rebounding is broken, shooting is a chore and god forbid you try something slightly off-balance because you'll be lucky to hit the rim. The gamplay gets a little better as you level up, sure, but the game engine is terrible and the physics are way off. Graphics: 5
Very bland and dated. Looks like a Sega 32x game. The colors are dull and the player models look terrible by today's standard. They aren't even accurate. My white player may look like your black players long lost twin... most player models look similar. The courts, hoops, nets, and environment all look lame
Sound: 7
The soundtrack is OK as are the effects but nothing groundbreaking. It's actually the most realistic part of the game... but it is far from anything that would resemble life-like.
Value: 9
Despite it's flaws, it renders a lot of replay value based on the level structure and the fact that it's an MMO sports game. The idea itself saved this game from being the worst game I have ever played.
Tilt: 9
I never thought I could possibly like such a bad game but I do. Being able to create your own player and go from online pick up game to online pick up game is a genius idea. Now, if someone could put together the full package then you are talking maybe a classic game. If the MMO world expands further into sports, this will be the first game I remember. Despite it's downright ridiculous flaws, the game is pretty damn fun.
