Free Running lacks the excitement and thrill-factor of the underappreciated sport it is based on!

I purchased this game with high anticipation. I heard slight whispers of this game's release, yet no other news regarding this title, not even a review from Gamespot. I began playing this game and was instantly immersed. The tutorial depicted a wide variety of different ways of movement and spectacular ticks. After completing the tutorial section, I was ready to be unleashed onto the streets of London to display my 'smooth moves' to the nation.

Yet, rather than the ability to roam throughout a mini version of London, I had been plonked within a generic, oppressive and rather disappointing rooftop. I had to plod through difficult and tedious tasks in order to progress to another generic, oppressive environment. The moves themselves grow boring, and the tasks are uninspired and extremely dull. The graphics are average and fail to exploit the PSP's full potential. A storyline? No chance. A missed opportunity which would've added variety to this mediocre title. The value itself, however, is fair. £20 isn't exactly 'breaking the bank'.

Overall, a boring game that had the chance to become a classic. I advise you avoid this game, because it's simply not worth the time or effort!
