Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon User Review
- Difficulty:
- Easy
- Time Spent:
- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Disappointing"
When I saw the trailers of the game I made up my mind and decided to buy it, it looked very promising and looked absolutely beautiful, but when I got it, it turned out that it wasn't as great as I thought it would be.
Gameplay - There is just enough gameplay to call this a game, the combat was pretty simple (And fun.) though the enemies were pathetically easy and generic, and the game gives you too many cheap hits, every single boss can be defeated by shooting it from a distance with your crossbow (Luckly it breaks easily, and doesnt do much damage), also the games makes you run in looong hallways, way too long, it's boring to keep moving forward + killing the exact same enemies, Also there are some frustrating parts in the game (like hide and seek, and catching crow).
Graphics - Great, some areas lack detail, but the Character designs are great, every single cutscene is absolutely beautiful, though the frame rate gets a bit annoying at the hotel part, and drops whenever there are 3 or more enemies on the screen, the enemies look creepy and good.
Sound - Beautiful, the music is just great, the combat music is good too (creepy music like Resident evil) the voice acting is well done, but some sound effects are missing.
Overall, it's a good game, maybe I would have liked it more if I understood the story, it was a bit boring, and I forced myself to finish it.
7.5/10

An incredible concept that is marred by poor execution

I wish I could give it a 10/10, but it would be a better book than a video game.

Gameplay issues diminish the brilliant concept Fragile Dreams delivers, but it is still an RPG worth experiencing.

Beautiful scenery... great storyline... an Excellent game that really takes advantage of Wii controls.
