Xbox One for Black Friday - Get it now or wait?

I was just wondering if there will be a price drop for the xbox one on black friday?

Usually there are price drops for consoles on black friday, and I'm deciding if I should wait to get the xbox one on black friday or get it now.

I'm planning to get destiny, advanced warfare, and master chief collection for it anyways.

If there is a price drop, what do you predict it will be?

@tonyx429: I say go ahead and pull the trigger. I don't think there will be much of a price drop, more of a free game package perhaps. The price is pretty low right now IMO.

Why do so many people think there is going to be a price drop when the system is just going on its one year anniversary? Price drops happen when making the console gets to be cheaper to make and that does not happen in the first year. What you will see is some type of bundle with the system and game(s). Depending on the retailer, you might get a gift card out of it.

Now, I have been thinking about the value of getting an Xbox One now or waiting. Black Friday is about a month and a half away and the games you want to get will still be there. Also, the deals could be sweeter. What it comes down to is if you want to take that chance. No matter what you choose, you will be getting a system that has a lot to offer. Enjoy.

If you can wait then wait, it doesn't hurt to see what deals/bundles are on their way.

Don't wait around for any price drops because they will not be happening. The only reason I would wait is to get one of the bundle Xbox systems that will come out with some game, other than that just pull the trigger now.

If you have waited this long. Hold out and see what deals Black Friday may offer. While there will not be a price drop for Xbox one. Black Friday will offer temporary discounts on Consoles, games and Controllers etc. so while there will be great black Friday sales they will not be permanent price drops.

So if you really want a deal hold out and see what Bundles/offers that Black Friday may offer. Xbox live or a free extra controller thrown in.

@tonyx429: Uh, no one can know that answer, but honestly, if you waited this long you might as well wait another month. I own an Xbone. Everyone should know you save more money as time goes on and especially if you buy on sale weeks.

If the games you want are available now, I would go ahead and buy it, but for me personally, the price isn't the issue. I'm waiting for my favorite exclusives to drop, so whether there's a price drop or not, i'm getting it.

@tonyx429: Probably not a price drop but maybe like a $100 gift card with purchase. Same thing they did with PS3 and 360. So basically $100 off. I would wait since you've waited this far.

You should get it now if you can't wait for Black Friday.

Just as I predicted and the cheaper Xbone ALSO comes with bundled games! Now you can go back and see which users told you to wait for a price drop deals that were coming and which users told you to buy early bypassing any savings and bundled games. I figured you waited all this time, a few days more and you will be getting deals like this and presto, deals like this appear in October 2014.

Oops. You guys were wrong about the price drop, but let this be a lesson for next generation or at least till next year for deals.

Xbox just announced a price drop today for Xbone today which starts on Nov 2nd AND FREE game packages. That's the beauty of when machines are struggling in sales. The companies have pressure to make quick changes. They always wait till the last second to round up last minute purchases.
