hey, i need a router, now i need a good router, i dont want any lag from my pc and my xbox 360..

i need a router that can handle my pc(using an internet browser, msn) and gaming on xbox live at the same time,

Just buy a Linksys - WRT54G

Its a great router. Works just fine on Live.

most routers will do the same job, its more then likely your configuration, NAT and other little things that were causing you issues.

Just buy a Linksys - WRT54G

Its a great router. Works just fine on Live.

so change the channel your wireless router is broadcasting on.

Then get any router, mines not certified by ms nor is it on Port forward, yet I can still run a few downloads on the pc, play live, have my gf surf and not lag..

Do you even know anything about setting up a network?

Or setting up wireless security for that matter?

That's why I recommended this router. Its made by Cisco. Its fairly easy to set up even for beginners.

 I have a Net+, so I know what I'm talking about.

If you don't like my suggestion, you don't have to take it.

LEAVE YOUR HOUSE!!

Get some sunlight and go to Best Buy and buy a router and stop asking people for help then acting like a total ****ing jerk when they try to help you.

they sell the Linksys WRT54G router at just about every freakin electronics store, all you need to do is go to the site and search if its available by where you live.. geez its not that hard
