#1 Edited by kingcrimson24 (481 posts) -

some Blogger guy leaked these info and claimed that they come from good sources ..

  • Ryse 2 is in development and will be announced at the show in a real-time in-game trailer. Gone is the Roman period, enter the medieval setting. The game will offer more freedom of exploration and a refined combat system. The main character is a sell-sword of sorts with a greater destiny. This game looks beyond belief. No release date (possibly late 2016)
  • Forza Horizon 2 will be announced for release in October 2014 vai Playground Games. It will once again be open world and set in Louisiana, Missisips, New Mexico, Texas and Arkansas. Full day/night cycle, real time weather. Estimated 80 hour single player.
  • 343 Industries will unveil Halo 2: Anniversary. This is a full (multiplayer included) visual makeover of Halo 2, it will also include the same options as Halo Anniversary (Including both visual modes) skulls etc. It will include the E3 2003 mission as a bonus unlockable and the maps from the PC version.
  • No Turn 10 this year except in supportive capacity of Playground.
  • Halo 5 will get its release date.
  • Rare is prepping a re-boot of Battletoads and Perfect Dark. BT will initially be a download only title (see Killer Instinct) and is set to run at 60fps. Perfect Dark is looking to be rebooted into a Third Person Adventure game - Similar to Uncharted.
  • Epic will be there to unveil their new game base on the Samaritan demo from 2012. This will be XBOX ONE EXCLUSIVE as Microsoft is the publisher. Possibly the best looking game of this generation.
  • Good Science Studios will unveil their Kinect Only game "EchoBlack" - The game is controlled via the use of Kinect and the player plots through an adventure game drawn as by echolocation. The vibrancy of the world depicted alters depending on the pitch, loudness and location of the players voice. No release date.
  • Twisted Pixel will reveal their next digital game which is set in a sci-fantasy planet of Dekelsus. Possibly a 2.5D platformer.
  • Black Tusk will have a CGI trailer for Gears of War : Lazurus which will show the direction the series is heading.
  • Lift London will be showing 2 projects. They are small and digital based. No other details unfortunately.

  • Phantom Dust : Sacrifice is being worked on by Grounding Inc and will be a prequel to the original. The game will be episodic in nature.
  • Quantum Break will be out November 2014 - There is a multiplayer mode - Part 1 of a trilogy. The game has had a significant graphical upgrade since last year.
  • Sunset Overdrive is aiming for release on the last weeks of August/Early September. Graphically it looks like the CG trailer and the Parkour element of the game is a mix of Sonic, Jet Set Radio and Ratchet and Clank.
  • The secret Japanese game is coming from Platinum Games and is a Viewtiful Joe like action- beat em up. Codename is "RugPuddle". This is part one of a multiple game deal with Microsoft to publish other titles in the future.
  • Leap Experience Pioneers will announce their game which looks like a TPS/RPG hybrid set in a Sci-fi universe. Looks very Mass Effect inspired. COMING 2015
  • Platform Next Games is a new studio. They will be presenting an unnamed tech demo based on an upcoming project (similar to Black Tusks demo last year) which appears to be set in either an ancient or fantasy setting.
  • Games With Gold will be announced for Xbox One starting immediately. The aim is that it will be 1 retail game a month, 1 digital game per month of a choice of 2. This will evolve as time goes on.
  • Microsoft will announce the date when retail units can be activated as development kits, it will be before October 2014.
  • Crackdown: Skyline - Coming 2015 - No other info, not even the developer. Microsoft Studios.
  • Multi-platforms are as follows:

The Division (Xbox One is now lead platform)

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Fallout 4

EA game (not specified here)

Exclusive/Timed DLC on all.

ok this sounds freakin awesome ! Nearly all of those are xbox exclusives and if this is true then Xbox will WIN the E3

but it also sounds a little bit too good to be true . so what do you think about this list ? what games make you excited ?

Gimme some Halo 5 footage and drop us a hint about what Black Tusk is making - rumors flew that they cancelled their initial project when Gears was obtained from Epic.

I also can't for the life of me imagine how one reboots Battletoads. Making a good game is one thing, but marketing something like that to today's dems is hella tough. (Ima call BS on that)

This random blogger's post has made the rounds with excited people that want to believe.

It's from a no name blog and a no name blogger with no information on sources or trackbacks.

I've seen this list about 13 times in different forums, here's the source where you copied and pasted it from.

Random blogger. I don't trust random bloggers as I said before.

BTW, these random rumors spring up every year like clockwork before E3 and waste our gaming time. I've also noticed someone new is always willing to get excited enough to post these rumors despite the fact they can't get any information on sources or the blogger.

You literally can create your own fake list in a blog randomly and people will go nuts posting it everywhere. It's really sad how easy it is to take advantage of excitable fans.

Recently, a Gamespot thread was locked citing this random blog.

That's a lot of typing. My first post summed it all:

Don't trust some blogger guy.

Hey, don't forget that Halo 5 is rumored to be open-world or at least semi-open-world.

@SolidTy: we are allowed to discuss rumors here , right ? :/

Most probably false, but the thing that caught my eye the most whilst I skimmed through that article was Fallout 4! Not because it was in bold either lol. I hope this leak is true just so I can finally see my favourite series of all time get another release on the next-gen platforms.

@Kevlar101: I heard that ! it would be so cool if chief can have his own ship and have the option to travel to different planets !

Rumors are fine, but this is more just some random, unproven bloggers fake list. There's nothing about this list that comes from a legitimate source. It's not even a rumor. You are making it a rumor by posting this list that has no credentials. You see the difference?

For instance, if this blogger had a track record of being an insider, that's a legit rumor. This is just a random blogger with no credentials or any reason to believe him. You could literally make up your own list and post an anonymous blog and some other poor users ould probably believe it, even though you concocted the list sitting on the toilet. All you have to do is post obvious things like, Halo 5 such and such, and then move down from there. Start your list with real rumors and the make up BS along the way. That's what this list is, real rumors we heard from other with made up stuff to confuse people.

Oh well, this happens every year so I'm not surprised. Sometimes I have luck in explaining what people are doing in some years and sometimes I don't. This is one of those times.

It would be nice if this list is true. It's a is a nice list, but I know it's not. I've been alive too long and I've seen this kind of thing happen every year before E3 to believe it. Some of this list is true because this douche copied other rumors that are obvious. Halo 5 getting a release date, Twisted Pixel's next project, or Black Tusk's revealing GeoW. That's obvious stuff that can be guessed. That RARE stuff? He made it up, I know too much about RARE to fall for it. It goes on and on. I personally could create such a list to troll fans, it's too easy. I choose not too, whereas this person is a jerk manipulating people.

@SolidTy: you should've checked the bottom of my post too . :/ i did post the link .

I know there is a 99% chance that this isn't real . but i thought its a cool list and some parts like Fallout 4 sound really awesome .

Rumours that's all it is

Fake as fake can be, which is sad because after E3 I can garruntee some "fans" will be bitching that *insert game on the list* wasn't shown. I am confident though that MS will win the E3 battle this year, they have the most to prove.

While I'd kill for a new Battletoads (been ranting about this for years, how XBLA is the PERFECT place for a new one, or least port the old ones), Perfect Dark 2, Conker 2 or Banjo 3, I know Rare has somehow grown to just not give a f*** about their back library or fans for some reason. And why MS who bought them for so damn much won't use their library (which I assume is WHY they bought them) is just beyond me. Maybe with Phil Spencer in charge we'll get some change.
