Xbox controller problems

Before I go further, I've checked the batteries 3 times already. My xbox 360 controller disconnected uncontrollably. Every time I get shot or killed in BF4, it disconnects. When I'm playing NBA2K14, and the ball is passed to me, it disconnects. On top of that, it randomly disconnects.

Sounds like your battery is low.

Or it's not making good contact with the batteries.

What's throwing me off about it though is the fact that it happens when certain things occur while I'm playing.
