yeah it would be awesome... they had some 3d playable games on the 360 which I thought was awesome... black ops 2 for example was awesome playing in 3d!!!
I sure hope so. I'm a huge fan of 3D, both for gaming and movies.
Unfortunately, however, 3D isn't doing too well these days, at least in the home, so I doubt a big focus will be put on creating great 3D experiences for many games. A real shame because 3D done well can really enhance the experience.
###3D support is supposed to be on the way for Playstation 4. For 3D Blu-ray movie support. I don't know if that is so for Xbox one. But Sony will add 3D support for PS4 via a software update. Sony still publishes 3D Blu Ray movies and still makes 3D Blu ray movies and 3D Blu ray/ DVD players.
But for Videogames 3D seems to have died off. Sony did release a 3D 24 inch Gaming Monitor. At $500.00 it failed to really catch on. As did 3D capable HDTV's Sony no longer makes 3D Televisions. Some other companies still do. But 3D just didn't catch on.
3D gaming was supported on the PS3 but has died off. 3D for gaming has come and gone. It is unlikely Sony will release new games in 3D for the Playstation 4. But 3D movie playback is coming. That is about it. 3D gaming is a fad that has come and gone, Just like motion controls before it.
gears of war 3 was bad ass in 3D i thought the lokis were coming right at me. On the 360 so would love 2 see it on next gen with the new graphics .... would be Legendary!!
