As with all of these posts, it depends on what kind of experience you want. What kind of gamer are you? Do like GTA? Do you finish them? Do you play them because of the side quests, or because of the stories?
These are the kind of questions that will shape your answer.
Saints Row: A fun "sandbox" game that cribs from the master, with sublte improvments to basic gameplay elements. If you are looking for a striaght up, GTA forbidden>
If you like gory adventures and challenges ("hardcore" games), Dead Rising. If you like Open Ended games with unique features and completely new gameplay, Crackdown. If you like GTA:SA in HD and with a few new features, Saint's Row.
If it comes down to Crackdown and Saint's row, don't even bother with Saint's, get Crackdown.
can't say anything about Crackdown since I haven't played the full game, but Saints Row & Dead Rising are both good games...I would say Dead Rising is better, but the save system is pretty horrible and Saints Row is great if your cup of tea is GTA, but it's the easiest game to beat out of the two being Dead Rising is harder.
Saint's Row is kind of like GTA, and Dead Rising is a violent action game through a mall. As most people have said, it's al about your personal preferences about games.
Well I haven’t played crackdown yet but i think because of the co-op it makes it better than the other two you listed. Another option if you haven’t tried is Lost Planet which I personally loved the boss battles.
