I might just buy it for the beta but i don't really know what i should do. I really want to play halo 3 but i don't want to spend money on that game.

if you havent given crackdown 3 or more hours chance, you havent played it at all. i couldnt care less about the halo beta, crackdown is a blast.

I'm really disappointed by that game.  Every time I think a game is going to rival the GTA franchise, it fails miserably.

If this game had included vs multiplayer, I might've considered it.  But as it is, it's just an improvement over Saints Row.  Barely.

No one! You buy games for the game not a demo of another game. I hated when the Dragon quest(forgot what number the new one) for the ps2 came with a FF12 Demo its just rotten. The game should sell good cause its a good game not cause of the demo. And for Crackdown if the games not such a good game it shouldnt sell not sell just for a beta.

If somebody buys Crackdown just for Halo 3 and know nothing about Crackdown, then they are idiots. For me the beta's just a bonus as I loved the Crackdown Demo.

the only thing it has in common with gta is that its a sandbox. you should widen your definition of whats a good open ended game, or you'll only be happy with about 1 game every 4 years, or whenever rockstar releases sequels.

I hear ya.  I wish I'd bought Mercenaries or whatever that combat sandbox-style game was a few years back. 

Honestly, I'm up in the air about Crackdown.  The sound, the action, the city, it all looks so very tight.  Let's face it, if I had played this game back in 1997, I would've run to the nearest game store to buy it.  So yeah, I guess I should probably stop expecting every game to be the next 9.5 out of 10.

I'm more interested in Crackdown than the Halo 3 beta. I just preordered the game again after reading more reviews and changing my mind for the final time. Can't wait for it.

I feel the same way but come on, it's Halo 3 online.  It's not Halo 3, it's Halo 3 online mutiplayer gameplay!
