I've only played one XBOX game on the 360 so far and I was horrified! The game was Rainbow Six: Black Arrow and though it looked like it was a great game, it was a total lag-fest. It was downright unplayable. Are all XBOX games experiencing problems when played on the 360?

Every Original Xbox game played on 360 will have problems...

If you don't like it, then buy an Original Xbox.

I've played Fable for a couple of hours and the framerate drops but it looked pretty good.

Does Halo 2 fall in the "problems" category?

I have quite a few original xbox games and they all play fine except GR2 so no not all games have issues.

www.xbox.com

Search Backwards Compatibility

It will give you all the information you will ever need to know about emulation problems with the 360.

Every game has problems.

Halo 2 works quite well. Also, you should be proud to be Canadian.

This has nothing to do with the topic. And you know how slippery those Quebec-Canada debates always get so please, don't start. But thanks for the info on Halo 2! I may very well buy it for my 360.

Here is the official list for Xbox compatibility...

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm

If it ain't on this list it won't even boot up... some on the list are buggy or laggy....

I love the 360 to death, but they dropped the ball with backwards compatibility... Sony and Nintendo did it right.  Oh yah good luck moving your save files from the Xbox to 360 too... sheesh.

BTW just to add a positive note... Halo 2 is pretty damn sweet in 720p.  Definately buy it for your 360.

I can't believe you've never played Halo 2, it seems everyone and their Mother or Mère has played it. I'm not trying to start anything with the Quebec thing, it was just a comment.

When did I state I never played Halo 2?!? I have played it and loved it but I don't have an XBOX anymore so I wanted to know if I could run it on my XBOX360 without encountering any problem.

You said you may go out and buy it for your 360, I just assumed you'd never played it. My error.
