i played dead rising at a friends for a few hours and loved it so i bought it and after playing it for a while it got so boring andit just repeated itself. So what do you think
What breaks it for my friends and I is the save system. I know some say they did it like that to add tension but it simply annoys us. If I recall, the dev said they knew they screwed up and will have a better save system in the 2nd one. I really hope so.
I enjoyed it but the save system totally sucked. That what got me fustrated with the game was the save system. I just hope they fix that for the next game.
yh the save system was awful first time playingit i got to the second day and died and had to start the whole thing again because i forgot about the save thing it should be a auto save
I'm playing it at the mo. One of the best Xbox exclusives. It's strange and annoying at times but that what makes it so much more awesome and not straightforward just killing zombies.
Its designed so your suppossed to replay it and replay the begining, you get stronger as you level up, it becomes much funner as you find out where cool things are and how to get around easily. It's more like a sandbox you die and save your level for the next time. I love it.
nothing i have to say will be new. i thought the game was awesome. i thought the save system sucked. however, when i played through it, i knew all about the save system, so i kinda read up on it and knew how to use it and never had a problem. but i can totally see where you'd get screwed. i'm excited to play the sequal, should be even better.

that is exactly what i think. Good Idea but once you see how it was executed, you notice it is a terrible game.
Really enjoyed the game, played it for well over 40 hours i think, yes the save system was annoying on the first levels, but after hiting a decent level it shouldnt be a problem.
Dead Rising is in the elite category of zombie games with Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Stubbs The Zombie, and Left 4 Dead. I like Dead Rising the most, though. It was goofy, had an enjoyable story, a sandbox structure, and lots of fun to be had. Very, very good.
If you want to kill zombies play Left 4 Dead. Deadrising just sucked, plain and simple. However, the sequel does look promising. Im not holding my breath though.
Loved the first game. It was a challange to escrot large groups of survivors, and once you got Frank really high level, it was a blast to walk into a group of zombies unarmed and just rip them to pieces.
Cannot wait for Dead Rising 2. Will purchase it as soon as it comes out.
I loved Dead Rising. It was one of my favorite games on the Xbox 360 and it was one of the main reasons why I got the Xbox 360 in the first place. Sadly, I lost my copy, but its cheaper these days so Im going to get it again pretty soon.

Let me guess! You probably died to much in the game that you gived up with the hard Save System, did you? Anyways, Dead Rising was a much better game then L4D. L4D wasn't fun at all, maybe with friends, but without them, it sucks, period. Thats why I sold L4D months ago and the fact that people always Betray me on Survival mode, it was pointless to play on and it sucks, period. Atleast Dead Rising got a story and it was Challenging, unlike L4D. Then again, thats my opinion. I think the reason why you like L4D better is because it has Online play, without it, it would suck to you. Just to remind you.
