The game didn't brick your system. It just happened you were playing Doom 3 when it died. The game is not installed on the hard drive, it's been extensively tested before it was released on the BC list and it is not so intensive it would push the system beyond it's treshold. Plus, you would be the first I've heard of with this complaint about Doom3, you really think you are the first of the 9 million 360 owners and the 1 million Doom 3 owners that this happened to?
Your system just died, I'm sorry but it was not a game that killed it.
I played all the way through Doom3 on my 360, not a single issue.Ā The game did not ruin your system, your system just died & for whatever reason you seem to think that D3 caused it.Ā It didn't.ColoradoKindBud
Thank you.Ā I've done the same and never had a problem.Ā MyĀ 360 eventually broke but it was about 4 months after I had played Doom 3.Ā Ā
I'm not saying you're wrong but doesn't there have to be a first for everything? I'm sure someone out there had their xbox break first? Lol ur probably right as far as the rest of it goes im just being a smart-a$$ and saying that someone has to be first...even if there are 9 million peeps. The game didn't brick your system. Do not play Doom 3 on your Xbox 360, it will break the system! This is the second 360 that got the ring of death for me from that game. If it freezes your system is done. I got accepted into the Halo 3 beta and its going to cost $150 to fix it, I'm dead broke from November. Looks like no Halo 3 beta for me untill next fall:shock:gradybFixed.
