Rewire an Xbox 360 Headset

My 360 headset cordgot sliced and I want to know if I can rewire it? Does anyone know of any links or even steps to do so?

I'd have to agree with the cut the protective layer and then try tie the metal pieces together and see if that works

there might be some guides on the internet somewhere that could help you out

and if either doesn't work I think you can get headsets pretty cheap on eBay
