Rainbow Six Vegas 1 or 2?

Hey guys should i get the first Rainbow Six Vegas 1 or two? The first one got a higher rating, but iw as wondering if the second one is better?

The only way the score would mean the first was better is if they came out at the same time. And they did not.

The second one got a slightly lower score because it didn't change much, not because it was worse. Technically 2 is better.

graphics are average, lots of slow down / frame rate drops, blocky faces and poorly drawn characters, lip sync all out with the voices... disappointing, was expecting a lot better

rb6v2 will go down as the biggest let down of the year for mestolz1975

I have the same doubt about getting the first one or the sequel. I don't care that much for the online multiplayer, I just want it for the offline co-op and everyone told me R6V1 has graphic isuues when playing split screen (quality gets lower). I've also heard that R6V2 has a better put together 2 player splitscreen co-op story mode.

Price of R6V2 dropped so being both classics and being as many people encouraging to buy R6V2 as people doing R6V1 are, it gets a bit difficult to decide wich one should I get.

I always see vegas 1 in second hand stores for about $6...so if you are willing to get vegas 2, just add on another $6 and get them both. Seriously, the time you spend thinking about it is probably not worth $6

I have both...I loved vegas 1, gave up near the end on vegas2. Not that it wasn't great, it was just the same

I'd go for the first one - I thought that the story was better and the locations (in casino's!) was better. In rainbow six 2 I don't think you even step inside a casino!

Number 2 is graphically better from the technical side, but the locations are not as cool.

I also prefer the online on rainbow six 1....infact I like it alot...i'm an elite.

Last time I played there were alot of people online on rainbow six 1 - it was the highest rated online game for quite a while, and there is still quite a following for it.

Bth games are good.

i just bought the first one the other day, and so far i havent had any problems finding online matches or anything. single player is awesome... and from what i hear its a better game than the 2nd. besides.. i got mine used for 13 bucks. not a bad deal. people still play it... and im going to enjoy this game a long time. maybe sometime down the road i'll rent 2, but i wont buy it unless i truely have the money to waste.

Even if you get the 2nd one with out getting the 1st one there is a completely different story and you won't get lost in whats going on.

both are great games. i personally liked multiplayer better on 1 but 2 is a better game all around. and after a lil bit the started to really enjoy multiplayer on 2 as well. get 2 your better off that way.

if you want if for split screen only get 2

RSV 2 was a improvement of RSV 1 so RSV 2 is a much better game to play, plus, theirs more people in the multiplayer and you could play CO-OP story mode in the 2nd one. So my answer, RSV 2 is better.

Vegas2 is better in every way imo.

Only thing in the first Vegas that i loved was that one main level, that was outside, i forget the name but it had a church in it. God that map was fun for search adn destroy type modes.

Both are great games & a blast to play. RSV 2 would be your best bet though due to more playing it online.
