Like I said, grab a sanyo Z4 for 1400 bucks and you'll have a non-burnin 100+ inch screen that'll wow you with both dvd and xbox360.Resortman
Sanyo? They still make electronics? LOL
1) Yes I agree, my couch is about 13 feet away from the TV which I dont like. Come December Ill be setting up my room in the basement, (its a big apartment style room :), so itll be much better.
2) The speakers are BOSE which cost me a crap load of money, they are hidden (theres one in every corner of the ceiling around the room, there great)
3) I dont know whats wrong with my cat, lol

Thanks for the link. However, in all the HT magazines, I never see Sanyo making must have items. The link is a year old. Do you have any recent stuff? I don't trust Sanyo to be a premeire company in the realm of HT unless you can set me straight. It's just that when I hear Sanyo, I think bargain/cheap.

I will also say that the sanyo z4 is a great choice. There is also the z5. Also look at the panasonic pt-ax100u or pt-ae900u. They can all be had for around 2000 or less. They are all great projectors.Â
I have freinds that have these and they are probably the best setups for the money. As long as you can have a fairly dark room, these are better choices then any regular tv for the price.Â
When I bought my 65 mits crt tv a few years ago, I didn't even look at projectors thinking they were too expensive, until I went over to my friends house who had a sanyo plv-z2 at the time and was amazed!Â

nice live nameÂ
I suggested the Z4 because it is a very good FP for cheap. Sanyo/panasonic are pretty much the tops for 2K-3K fp's and have been for a while now.Â
INVA-->opinions you want, I'll throw a few out there...remember, you asked. As far as Bose go, our avsforum refers to them as "blows"...great marketing, but poor speakers:) I still think the tv is small for 13'...not a big deal but I wouldn't be able to play on it being it would wrench my neck after a while:) Good move to the basement, level off the set, and get it a bit closer and you'll be happier! :)Â

Nice. When I you originally posted, it seemed as if you were saying that Sanyo was a major player in HT. My original assertion still stands. It's a cheapie brand. I think their primary concern is their digital camera/camcorder divisionis bigger than their HT division. I think Sharp, Mitsubishi, Sony's Cineza line, Optoma and Infocus offer comparable/better projector options. Sorry, but IMO Sanyo is not a major player in any HT sector.
very nice setup guys, personally my fav is the one with the samsung :D
lmao, invasion your cat looks more like a fox.
