hi, i am getting my 360 on monday(cant wait) and i was wondering how to get or make a gamercard/tag. i know it sounds stupid but, im new to xbox live and stuff like that, so please help.
You could do it now on www.xbox.com, but it is better to wait, because if you do it on your xbox, you will get the 1 month free trial.
Just connect your xbox to the internet, just one cable. Then go to Join Xbox Live, and follow the steps. It is very easy, only thing you need is an Windows Live account.
When you log ur 360 into Live for the first time, it'll prompt you to create an account. So you just fill everything in on there, and it'll give you your one month free gold subscription. Or you can just sign up on www.xbox.com and then retrieve the gamertag when prompted. So basically yeah, you just have align your tag with your account
