Out of all the 360 games you have played, which one had the worst, most dissapointing ending?
Mine would have to be Bioshock, phenomenal game but lack luster ending.

Same goes here. Both games had a 1 minute disclosure. Bioshock 1 had a way longer campaign and the ending was really fast. Bioshock 2 was shorter and I guess shorter ones deserve shorter endings.Out of all the 360 games you have played, which one had the worst, most dissapointing ending?

Excuse me while i check the theromostat in Satan's Wine cellar, because this is the first time a thread has been created where Mass effect 3 was not the first and only choice.
Id say skyrims ending (main quest) was very poor. but it does not bother me that bad because there is so much to do in the world.

I can't believe it took this long for someone to mention Mass Effect 3. :o
Pretty shocked it took so long for someone to answer with Mass Effect 3 too, looks like we may have all gotten over it!Nercay
Maybe, but I certainly haven't forgotten it. I would say it's the second worst ending in a game I've played this gen, only beaten by LA Noire for that title.
Enslaved. That ending came out of nowhere; I was not expecting that to happen. The final boss battle leading up to it didn't do the game any favors as well.

I did not mean i chose ME3, I chose skyrim. i was just shocked that nobody in the thread had bashed it yet, since most about bad endings do. im one of the obviously retar*ed people that liked it (i finished it with the extended cut) I think im going to run through it again soon. While it is not the most dissapointing ending I've ever seen or even a bad ending, Gears of War 3 let me down with its ending.

ME3 caught me off guard, I couldn't believe that was all of it.
My biggest gripe with ME3 was they took all that time to develop these characters and then just completely disregarded them and the individual stories in the end. So much wasted potential with ME3, but I disliked the endings so much I'm over it now.
LA Noire's ending was definitely a disaster. People are all gonna say MASS EFFECT 3 ENDING SUX OMG, but I found it to be pretty effective. I mean certainly nothing mind blowing but it was solid. But yeah. LA Noire I think is my main pick.
Rage. I could have sworn I was about a third of the way through, and suddenly it ends. Not even funny.
Mass Effect 3 easily wins most disappointing ending and most disappointing game of 2012. The Pre-EC ending ruins the franchise. I won't go into details because it has been documented well enough, but I would have never imagined Bioware, the company that puts great stories in their games, would have been the ones guilty of making 2 bad stories (the other being DA2). The EC was slightly better, but honestly, anything would have been better than the original ME3 ending. I've seen several fans "endings" on youtube that were much more well thought out and conclusive than Bioware's ending to ME3. Mass Effect 3 was definitely bipolar. For every good thing it did right, it did something else poorly. Obviously the ending was a Legendary fail in my book. Completely destroys your choices and decisions from the previous 2 games having any impact in the finale.gr8scott
I agree with this. Maybe I had unfair expectations for ME3, but the rubbish they rolled out as the ending undid all of the good storytelling they'd done for two complete games and maybe a quarter of the 3rd.

Nope, it's STILL Knights Of The Old Republic II OMFG I've never had the urge to throw a game out of a window but I came pretty damn close after finishing KOTOR II.
You know, I don't really think of Fallout 3 as having a bad ending, but now that you mention it, it was abrupt and underwhelming.Fallout 3 and Rage

I see where you are coming from with KOTOR 2. You could tell the game was really rushed at the end and it showed in the ending. I'm not trying to give KOTOR 2 a pass or anything because the developers were rushed to get it out for the holiday season, but I think it was obvious why the ending fell flat. That is a real shame too because I really liked the direction they were going with the Exile Jedi.Nope, it's STILL Knights Of The Old Republic II OMFG I've never had the urge to throw a game out of a window but I came pretty damn close after finishing KOTOR II.

I haven't played many 360 games yet, but I'd have to say Alan Wake. I'm still a little confused what happened.
Rage is definitely worth playing... I thought the game itself was really sweet. The ending though, was just unbelievably abrupt. Seriously, the plot starts to pick up just a little bit of pace and bang! It's over. It wasn't helped by me playing it on the 360... the game came on three discs, and I didn't know the whole of the 3rd disc was multiplayer. I figured I was about halfway through based on me having played disc 2 for half as long as I'd spent on disc 1 and that disc 3 was untouched. I was not a happy boy.
