Hi guys, I just got a 360. I have my Wii on-line and working fine. I will be setting up the 360 Friday, is there anything I need to know? I was planing on getting it online already Friday night with GoW and download Crack Down. I got the $499 premium bundle with GRAW and some arcade games.

If your xbox 360 dies, then put your towels around and leave it in the fridge.

you give your 360 to them, and they give you a new one as long as you have the warranty. And make sure to buy Oblivion and Guitar Hero II(when it comes out)

It used to be 90 days, but now it's a year.

Don't forget to buy these games.

1. Make sure you get an in-store warranty so you can take
it right back & replace it the minute there is a problem.

2. Do not use Intercooler or 3rd party cooling utilities for
the 360 as they can melt on the system & void the
Microsoft Warranty.

3. Keep it in a well-ventilated area & when you are not
using it, I suggest turning it off rather than letting it run.
Like stereo equipment, time vs heat will eventually take
its toll.

4. Someone just mentioned the power going off while a 360
was turned on. My suggestion here is to get a UPS backup
power supply so you can get a chance to turn off your
game. Or at least a power conditioner to protect your
equipment from electrical spikes.

5. Check for scratches on your DVDs & see if it the system
is eating your DVDs.

6. Check to see if your DVD is a noisy player. If it is, then you
might've just bought a pre-November 360 which has the noisy
DVD player.

7. If you have XP/Vista Media Center edition, you can browse the web
from the 360. A link to some software to do it:
http://www.anpark.com/software.aspx

8. If you can find the iC3 radioshack radio batteries for the
wireless remotes, you can recharge them in only 15 minutes.
They're currently discontinued but I've found them in the
stores still.

That's all I can think of for now.

First off congrats, the main thing I can tell you is xbl. You have to get it. Second is take really good care of your xbox. I am pretty anal when it comes to taking care of my 360, but I've had it since april of last year, and it works great. You want to get sometype of cooler for your xbox. I decided on buying a laptop cooler, and I always have my 360 horizontal. It works great and I never experienced overheating problems or anything of that nature. I also clean it frequently if I see dust. You want to do that periodically, and also I have the dirt cleaner that you would normally use for a computer. spray my 360 once in a while, not too much. The last thing is warrenty make sure you get an extended warrenty cause anything could happen. enjoy your 360

Make sure you buy battlefield 2: MC. It is/has been the number 1 online game for the past 2 years almost. On xbox and then to the 360. But yeah get that, gears of war. Also, march 1st go out and get battlefield bad company. surely to be the best game for the 360 for 07. It will be right up there with halo 3..

I got mine recently and the only problem is that I don't have the time or money to play all the games that I want to play. Also, you probably wont, but I've heard that if you move the 360 console whilst playing a game from horizontal to vertical or vice versa it'll scratch your disc, so don't do that.

DO NOT MOVE THE CONSOLE WHILE IT IS ON. I have lost 2 games due to this. One was rented (so i said it came like that and took it back) the other was one I had to pay for, but I only made this mistake once, the 2nd time it was a friend who moved it and me yelling NOOO at the same time. lol

Thats right. IF you move it it will put a circle scratch on your games. Also be very careful as they tend to be more fragile. Ive lost 2 copies of GEARS do to this
