Is xbl currently down?

internet is connected just fine, won't connect to xbl though. could be down to do increase in traffic with new consoles and everything, but idk

I hear it's doing that in the UK. Lizard Squad at it.

@lamprey263: yeah its down over here in the UK too. Lizard squad apparently with a DDoS attack. Has totally but bay to me actually getting to enjoy xbox live as i rarely get the chance to anymore. 3rd outage in a month. I think microsoft should compensate each member of XBL as its a paid service. Not to mention peoples credit card details could be at risk. Sort it out microsoft its what we pay our membership for!!

@brimmul777: I'm in new jersey. its really annoying that I need to be signed in to xbl to use netflix btw. I switched over to my ps4 and found that psn was down today as well, but at least there I could use netflixs without an issue

Yup down in UK just tried logging on and it said find your pips. lol.

I heard it's back up but I haven't checked to see if it's true yet.
