Is Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare multiplayer still active?

Anyone know if COD 4:Modern Warfare online multiplayer is still active (and working)? I have been wanting to go back and enjoy this game, but want to make sure if theres still plenty of people playing.

I'm honestly not too sure, it all depends really. As regards to hacked lobbies, every multiplayer game has their fair share of hackers. But you'll probably find people who want to play fair too. Buy the game (it's cheap) and see how it is.

Yes it is. You'll have no problem finding players in TDM, DOM, or S&D.

Hackers aren't uncommon but you should get into 'clean' lobbies fairly often.

Yes, there are still players active. I recommend you to not play it with the map pack since there are lesser players that have the map pack.
