If you could rent a console for $35 per month, would you? It would come with 5 games and 1 controller.

Depends on the time frame? Most likely my answer would be:

H

E

L

L

No.

Ripoff.

However, if it's for like one or two months, anything that doesn't add up past $300 then perhaps I would. I already own an Xbone, but $300 for an Xbone I might bite again for a second unit.

Usually deals like this work because companies end up selling you a unit for $800-$1200 bucks, and in that scenario my answer is again, HELL NO.

What you pay in rent someone reaps your rental time. You will never learn to save your money long enough to own a game console. If you own a console that you saved and paid for by earning money you will also learn to look after it and get better life of discs drive by not putting dirty discs in the slot - its not going to take too long and you'll see why its better to not be paying someone endlessly for your entertainment.

Waste of money, you end up paying so much more on the long run. Money that could of been spent on more games...

This only makes sense if you rent it for 1 month. Then never again.

If you really want to play videogames then it is more cost effective to buy a console and games. This work well for the longterm. The $35.00 per month deal is good for the short term. 1 month.

Unless I´m planning on using it for a very brief period of time, like a month, then the answer is NO WAY JOSE ! I still have my PS1 ( and believe it or not still play with it, when my son sees me playing he looks at me like if I´m an alien or something like that ).

I would do it for one month. I don't yet know if I want the bone, so trying it out for a month would be a good deal. It must come with XBL tho.

I pretty sure most video stores did something like that years ago.But you had to put a deposit of somesort.I think it was like $300 or $200 plus you had to pay the rental charges and any rentals of any games.I think that's how it worked at my video store.I can't be sure of prices and such,it was in the late 1980's,early 1990's.

I think it would make sense for people who want to play a handful of console exclusives.

Personally thats what im doing in less degree.

For example , Mario comes out , i dont own a Wii U . Renting it for a week with the game , finishing it ... and voila ! It costed me 15/20$ to do so and thats what im doing with all massive titles im missing from consoles i dont think they deserve my money.

Wii U has 3-4 games im interested in and thats it. Why to pay 500$ around for the console and 4 games when i can play those games with as much as 60 to 80$ !!
