How to convince your parents to let you buy an Xbox 360

Hi,

I really need help, im trying to convine my parents to let me buy an xbox 360 since over 1 and a half years now, but i always failed. I have tried so many things but their argument is that i will be in front of the TV to often. So I told them to set a time limit but they didn't accept I tried so many other things please, can somebody help me.

tell them there is a feature in the 360 where they can set a time limit that shuts off the xbox.

Oh yeah. tell them splinter cell conviction is exclusive to 360. Its more dark, violent and badazz from the previous ones.

You could buy some pot and then keep making profit off that until you have enough money for an xbox 360 and a game or two, 100% profit if you grow!Or you could just work for a week or two then quit, claim to your parents if there is any work around the house it could painting or chopping firewood(watch those fingers!)seriously just devise a plan with them to get an xbox.If you seek you will find.

You sound pretty young so i'll suggest getting a paper round or sumit. i get £140 for working two weekends a month :)

Finish your homework and get good grades. If you can't get a summer job, do chores.

I haven't lived with my parents in about 20 yrs, but if Idid I'd just tell them if they didn't let me get an xbox, I'd put them in a home !!!

2. are you fat and lazy?

3. what systems do you already own?

4. where did you get your money from?

5. are your parents really religious or something?

6. does your family even own a tv that you are able to watch on a regular basis.

etc.etc.....

Just keep asking them and providing them with the facts. Tell'em you could be inside playing video games or outside doing crack. ;)



*Note not the best advice ever as they may thing you are doing drugs but you get the point, just keep asking them.

LOL on second thought unless you want to talk to a crapload of priests until they deem you sane I'd recommend against my previous recommendation. :P

You can't, if anything tell them its cheap and theres some kind of parental lock on it limiting the hours you can play but other than that if they don't let you buy one, get the money yourself or something.

i was in ur position till i saved up all the money to buy myself my own 360:)
