Tell them if you don't get a 360, you will get into drinking and hardcore drugs. Xbox 360 = YOUR anti-drug
#3 Posted by BLAS1AN (3452 posts) -

tell them there is a feature in the 360 where they can set a time limit that shuts off the xbox.

Oh yeah. tell them splinter cell conviction is exclusive to 360. Its more dark, violent and badazz from the previous ones.

Don't beg or asked for things, get it yourself. Get a summer job.

This.

You could buy some pot and then keep making profit off that until you have enough money for an xbox 360 and a game or two, 100% profit if you grow!Or you could just work for a week or two then quit, claim to your parents if there is any work around the house it could painting or chopping firewood(watch those fingers!)seriously just devise a plan with them to get an xbox.If you seek you will find.

Tell them the 360 doesn't have a Wiimote or that Sony wand thingy. They'll be willing to get you a 360 when they know you won't be flapping around your living room like a dork.

I hope you're only like 10 years old :?

1.) wait until you're 18 2.) get a job 3.) move out 4.) enjoy At least try number 2. If you earn the money yourself, your folks may be more likely to allow the purchase.

You sound pretty young so i'll suggest getting a paper round or sumit. i get £140 for working two weekends a month :)

Finish your homework and get good grades. If you can't get a summer job, do chores.

Agreed!!! If your asking them then you don't deserve it... Mow lawns, walk dogs, steal and unlike the others I'm being dead serious. If you want something in life you better be ambitious and willing to do "what ever it takes" to accomplish your goal. Don't beg, begging's for dogs! Go out and earn it if you really want it! And their right, you will be spending all your time infront of the tube, its unavoidable. Its that damn good.

Mad-_-Mike
How'd you get said money??? IF IT'S FROM ALLOWANCE THEN ITS STILL THEIR MONEY. If your "earning it" no one can tell you how to spend your hard earned money... unless your married. Go buy a Tv and system and thats that, it's not their decision. Work hard but play harder!

how old r u, and how u got the money?

Mad-_-Mike

just buy it and hide it. the worst they can do is whoop your a$$ and take it away. thats if they find it. but really, your not giving us enough info.

1. how old are you?

2. are you fat and lazy?

3. what systems do you already own?

4. where did you get your money from?

5. are your parents really religious or something?

6. does your family even own a tv that you are able to watch on a regular basis.

etc.etc.....

if your really asking the question, then these are things that we need to know to give you an answer......

#24 Posted by enterawesome (9477 posts) -
I have to buy them with my own money, but if you have that and are arguing the 360 itself, maybe sell a game system you don't use to compensate. Or, write a well thought out persusasive paper.
#25 Posted by PsychoSkillz93 (7 posts) -
next time you ask them and they say no, ask them if its because they don't love you lol
#26 Posted by xscott1018 (1266 posts) -
tell them u will pay for it. get a job. u will have to wait until ur birthday or Christmas.

Just keep asking them and providing them with the facts. Tell'em you could be inside playing video games or outside doing crack. ;)

*Note not the best advice ever as they may thing you are doing drugs but you get the point, just keep asking them.

#29 Posted by Mad-_-Mike (36 posts) -

360 is expensive. it consumes too much of your precious free time.

You know, for a guy that's a pretty decent level and on Gamespot in the first place, this seems to e a rather strange comment. Are you even a gamer? :|

#42 Posted by RealKilla_789 (3668 posts) -

Tell them about all the cool features they could enjoy. Twitter, Facebook, MW2, MW2, and Project Natal!

#43 Posted by RAMRODtheMASTER (8107 posts) -

Tell them that if you do not recieve an xbox promptly that your dark lord Satan will be incredibly displeased with them.

LOL on second thought unless you want to talk to a crapload of priests until they deem you sane I'd recommend against my previous recommendation. :P

#44 Posted by MaChaorules (4951 posts) -

You can't, if anything tell them its cheap and theres some kind of parental lock on it limiting the hours you can play but other than that if they don't let you buy one, get the money yourself or something.

Just make a deal with them to improve your grades (I'm assuming you are in school) and that if your grades slip, they can take away your xbox 360.

Yeah it's a bit hypocritical of me to say that, but truthfully I look back on my days in middle school and high school, and realize that I spent too much time playing Super Nintendo and not enough time on my algebra. Who knows, maybe if I spent more time on my homework then today I would be an engineer, with a hot wife, but I'm not an egineer and I don't have a hot wife. I'm already done with school and have a job, so I can buy whatever I want and spend my freetime however I want. I sort of wish I made smarter decisions back then because I had no idea how magnified the choices I made a teenager would effect my life as an adult. You don't think it's a big deal back when you're still a kid or a teenager, but when you're an adult and see your classmates move onto cool jobs like New York Times editor or founder of a tech company, mean while you are working for some crappy job, you will wish you hadn't limited your potential just because you wanted to play Call of Duty.
