Has anyone else got $6.00 free from microsoft on 360?

I was going to purchase a few games from xbox live on my 360 and I went to add a credit card and saw that for some reason that microsoft put $6.00 into my microsoft account and thought that was just from the rewards program. But I happen to check another account on my xbox 360 that i didn't even use the rewards program with and have just purchase one game with that account and it also has $6.00 in that account also is Microsoft given out $6.00 to us or what is the deal?

you got lucky even though $6.00 is not much. It is free money, most likely a glitch so be happy. $6.00 won't be enough to buy a game but still it is better than nothing.

If I were to guess, it's an accounting error on your part, but who knows. If you really looked deep into it and you got free money, enjoy.

It may be from Xbox Live Rewards or Microsoft points. I know if you had available MS points before they removed it, they turned the MS points in to real credit on your MS account. I also know they've restructured Xbox Live Rewards so if you had any points on that, they also turned the points you had in to credit on your MS account.

No but they gave me a free extra 1 year gold after a couple of weeks after i got the Xbox one and 12 month membership. So got 2 years be for i have to buy another gold member so Cant complain.

I final found out what the $6.00 was for Microsoft send me a message to my 360 and said that they were giving it out where they where having problems with the Xbox Video where you couldn't login into it.
