I'm sure a bunch of people are going to rag on me for posting this but i needed to get it off my chest. I absolutely hate it every time I see the phrase "exclusively for _____" substitute any system name, but they all do it. When I bought my first xbox, i felt all special because no one else really had one yet and because all these games were going to be exclusive to the system. To me, thats like saying thank you choosing my console for your purchase (even though I own them all) and here's a reward just for you because you are an xbox gamer. Amazingly though I can barely think of two games that stay on one platform (with exceptions to like mario series and stuff). The reason I even bring this up is because I was reading about mass effect and sure enough it says its going to be an xbox 360 exclusive, but we all know if its any good its going to get ported out to the PC or PS3. Obviously I can't blame our friendly console producing companies for this, but rather the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the developers and publishers. Its not that much of a big deal to other people i know, but to me its like saying "this is just for you because your so important to us as a loyal gamer(then they turn their heads and snicker, give it a year and I'll have it ported on every system)" I realize that they're in the business of video games and its just that, a business that needs to make money to make more video games to make more money. Am I wrong for feeling a little betrayed when do something like this?
