Do I need to keep the disc?

As I understand it, XBOX ONE requires you to load all the games into its hard drive. After I do this, do I need to keep the disc?

Yeah, you can only play the game when the disk is in the drive...

@dcobos: Yes. Otherwise people would install the game once and sell the game. People would rent games and install them acquiring a game for a few dollars. These companies aren't that dumb.

The Xbone installs are just like 360, PS3, PS4 game installs in that respect. You still keep the disc after installs if you want to play the game.

Yes, unless I think you can buy the game off the Xbox Store and then not need to download it? So maybe if your friends have a copy of the disk version and you buy it from the store, I could see you being able to install it off the disk and use the store code to be able to access the game? I am not 100% sure on that one but it could be worth using a rental if downloading the 40 gig plus files is an issue (for me I would do that if I did not buy the disk one purely as that would take a long time for me to download).
