I'm sure this has probably been asked several times before, but I don't have the time to search through 5600 pages of this forum. So my question is this, what is the best way to connect the 360 to an HDTV? I've heard that the HD composite cables are the best and then again I've also heard that cables with the PC input provide a better picture. If someone could enlighten me it would be appreciated.

What he said. However I have mine set up with thecomposite cable and I've got it to full 1080p.

Just remember when you get it ready go to settings and change it to 1080 and if your on the Composite cables hit it to HDTV

I have a 40" Samsung LCD HDTV (1080p) I use component cables right now with 1080p resolution. It looks great. I also have a VGA connection for my Xbox 360, and I didn't like it much at all. The colors seemed to be washed out, but from what I heard from others, they had a completely opposite result. I have yet to try HDMI on Xbox 360, so I can't have any insight on that. I hear though that HDMI is really just the way to go. In all honesty, I'm satisfied with my component cables. I get 1080p gaming through it anyway.

Well, Mad Catz makes a converter for the 360 that upconverts from Composite (Red, White, Yellow) to 1080i. It plugs into the port where you plug in your A/V cables, so theres no actual wiring except for the HDMI cable. Best bet is to get it from GameStop! DONT GET IT FROM THEIR ONLINE STORE! The GameStop price is 60. MadCatz store is about 80-90.
