Call of duty ghosts

Help please in call of duty ghosts I get to the end of the homecoming segment go up the stairs engage the enemy soldier and it repeats again and again. What am I missing to get through this.. Help please

Do you mean it's a glitch and won't let you proceed? Try to power cycle down the console and delete your cache history. I'm assuming you're playing on the Xbox One? If those steps don't work I'm afraid you might have to try re-install the game.
