Hello,

We just bought a 360, mainly as a cheap way to play some local multiplayer, but I'm having a hard time tracking down a good 4 player split screen game. There seem to be plenty of quality 2 player games and some with 4 players but no bots or co-op type modes, but what I'm really looking for is either:

-4 player competitive modes with bots (or something else a little more compelling than just us shooting each other)

-4 player co-op, be it story-based, waves of enemies, whatever

We don't have internet access on the console, so anything requiring Xbox Live or any downloads would be difficult. Not impossible, but certainly not ideal. Any genre is okay, shooting, racing, whatever. I know the split screen era pretty much died a while ago, but I'm hoping there are at least a couple of decent games out there capable of providing 4 player fun on one screen. If you can think of any suggestions, let me know. Thanks!

I think there is a disk version of Minecraft

If I'm not mistaken, I think Halo ODST has 4 player firefight.

Halo 3 has 4 player split screen co-op on the campaign.

And possibly Halo reach firefight has 4 player split screen.

One game I really recommend is Castle Crashers, but that's a downloadable game.

You must have one big ass TV screen ! I actually don't know any Split Screen games of that magnitude, I've always been content with just a single split.

Lol. Another reason why I hate splitscreen gaming. I want the whole TV to myself damnit.

i love splitscreen and i hope some games on next-gen will support it. i don't have 2 tv's or 2 consoles, so splitscreen is the good old way to play locally with some friends. i wish titanfall and halo 5 will have splitscreen!

anyway, the games i enjoyed the most on my 360 in splitscreen were definitely halo 4 and blur.
