Battlefield Bad Company 2 VIP Code?

So I bought a used copy of Bad Company 2 and absolutely love it. Online multiplayer is just as how I remembered it. But every time I log on to play it asks for a VIP Code. Something that the game didn't come with because it was used. I looked into what the code was for and saw that you oculd download more map packs and such with it.

So my question is, is there anyway to obtain or purchase one of these codes? If so from where and for how much?

i havnt put played bfbc2 in awhile but you use to be able to buy it from the store in the menu i think

that would make sence, i know you can by the mass effect 2 version of the vip code for 1200 points too.
