Xbox one 'Home xbox' issues

I usually play my xbox offline.When i go somewhere with WiFi , i update my xbox, but other than that i dont. (I dont have wifi at my house)

I connected to xbox live the other night because all of my downloaded games said i needed to 'Make this xbox my home xbox'. I went to do that. found it in the options, but it wouldnt let me register it as my home console. "You cannot make this xbox your home xbox until it connects to the network" (It was something close to that)

This is the only xbox with my account on it, so i doubt there could be an issue there.

If someone could help, that would be fantastic !!!

You have to be connected to the network so it can check if you've already registered a home xbox. You can only have one per account.
