Xbox One headset choices

I've decided to buy an headset, meanly for the xbox one.

My budget is 300, I've thought about the Astro A 50 2gen X1 edition

But I also know there might be headphones with mic adapters that could be better.

I'm looking for the best possible headset for my budget, any suggestions

Oh and i'm not looking to plug it straight to my console.

How about plug it into the controller? That lets you use pretty much anything.
