Xbox One chatpad....????

i did not look much to see if there is a post for this topic. Anyways anyone got any 411 on if there going to make a microsoft version chatpad for the xbox 1?? It was a totaly a kick ass product for the 360 and specialy that there was a back light n headphone jack and fit the controller well. I dont look into stuff i try n get feed back from real people, thats y i ask.

This is one thing I wish Microsoft would make for the One. I think with the original vision they figured people would want to say voice commands or chat verbally, but I would much rather type most stuff in.

Have not heard anything about one for the One. I loved that pad too. Right now I use a USB wireless keyboard when I want to type, it is not as convenient as the chat pad, but it's alright.

This is the first time for me to hear about this, it would be interesting for the Xbox One.

Or you could use Smartscreen on any tablet or smartphone.

I use smartglass on a laptop for a regular keyboard. Once your on Windows 8+, you're no longer stuck running apps only on mobile hardware.

i just did and its pretty kick ass. technology is freaking wicked

The chat pad was great for the Xbox 360, made typing messages to friends much quicker. A shame developers couldn't make use of it for games. Anyhow, I'd like to see one for the Xbox One controller, but curious how it'd work with the large headset adapter the current controller uses.

They could integrate the headset controls into it for the XB1.

Yeah Smartglass also works great for typing you can use it for that too....I sometimes do but I mostly use smartglass on my Surface for other reasons. For typing I find it faster to just reach for my wireless keyboard nearby but it all depends on how your game room setup is. Nice to have a few options basically.
