Xbox 360 VGA cable help me please

OK i got the video part working fine and all but im having trouble with the sound is there anyway i can connect my sound to speakers that arent attached to the monitor..help would be appreciated

Yeah it is possible. I hooked them up to a old pair of stereo speakers. I plugged the white and yellow directly in the speaker

you use the audio adapter the vga cables come with and plug then into your computer sound card Line in slot, it should be open. thats all.

you pc will need to be on to hear sound.
