I kinda figured that the Fall update would be sometime this Fall already. I was just wondering if someone knew what month or even what day this update was to be released.

i heard it was bfore halo3 not confirmed but from a friend he said they wanted to implement a new feature for clans something like from halo2

If the fall update will indeed include clan support, it will probably come out on September 23 or 24, because those are the only two days of fall before Halo 3.
i think they should support more Video Formats and definitely implement an Internet Browser because when i'm on xbox360 my brother goes on the computer and i wanna check something on internet, but i can't, so i think an internet browser would be really useful.

It would be useful. People say that if you can surf the web on your PC you don't need one on your console but it's a handy thing to have if you don't have access to your computer e.g. because it's shared and someone else is using it.
well i read the part about them wanting to include clan thing for halo 3 and the fall update could be coming just days before the release of halo 3 so this feature could be used.... below is some picture proof or some good photo shop work .

Amen! Jesus Christ, I'm freaking 19 years old and I still can't use my 360 to it's full potential because it says I'm still a damn child...
lol, I'm 18 now and I have the same problem. I'm really only missing out on the ads (which is kinda cool actually) and the use of window's messenger though. Anyway, A September 23 release of the fall update would be great. It can't come soon enough. Real clan support + xVid support is a pretty big deal for me.

When I saw the xvid support on that list it made me kinda doubt the whole thing. It's a pretty big step for MS to take. I mean, I hope it's true. That would be one of the only selling points for me on a PS3 :P
I think it would be really cool to have out of game clans. pretty much like in halo 2 but it will mention your clan under your motto. This also would be cool cause if you want to join a clan you pretty much have to pay 10 bucks and change your name.
support for .avi would be nice. they really need a completely redesigned interface though, especially for xbox live marketplace. the current one sucks.

I like the interface as it is. It is so simple and easy to use. Also with this update, there is xVid support :)
if you're on the internet know, why would you need a browser on your 360? to surf pron in two different rooms??

The thing is... a browser would be nice for showing viral videos to friends who haven't seen them yet. Also... YTMNDs using surround would be really cool IMO. Right now, my laptop is connected to my TV using VGA, but it is still somewhat inconvenient since the sound doesn't go to my surround sound system. So anyway, a web browser wouldn't be totally useless IMO.
my dream list multichat, ability to mix and max pictures to make theme, video messages, animations as theme and other than that i cant think of much more i want but it better be good and come soon the way they are hyping it to be so amazing
