Wireless Router + xbox360 HELP?!

i have a netgear wireless router. i have an a xbox 360 with a wireless n adapter. within 24 meteres of each other. i get 1 bar out of 4 on my xbox 360! So i get a signal strength booster. (t-link one) supposed to boost it at least 2 bars. BUT i still get 1. could any help, or tell me what iswrong. im getting really fustrated!

ahh wireless, it an awkward friend isnt it? Where are you putting the booster? Dont just put it next to the router or anything I thinkk its meant to be in the same room as the 360 but experiment with where its put. And is the router N standard?

I was having similar problems.. just couldn't connect via the adapter, so I ended up returning it.

Now I just use my Macbook - I share the ethernet connection and it gets its signal wirelessly!

It could be a problem with multiple computers using that Wi-Fi. Wouldn't that weaken the signal only giving you one bar?

no youre thinking of bandwidth, signal stregnth isnt affected by multiple pcs
