My 360 is right next to my computer and both are 2 floors up from my wireless router. My 360 has full signal while my computer is on Very Low and constantly trying to recconect with the router. Its a great adaptor.

around $100 for a wireless adaptor? I don't think it's worth it when you can get a bridge for about $30

Do you have a laptop or PC in your room? Cause you can set up internet sharing on the computer and share the connection with the 360, then you get internet on the 360 for free without the wire running around the house.

I got a wireless adapter a few weeks ago and it works fine. It is a steep price at $100, but if you need it then it works.

My 360 was already hooked up via wired connection, so the settings were all screwed up. If this happens to you, DON'T FREAK OUT! Call that Xbox HQ thing and ask an agent about what to do, and he/she will walk you through the process to fix it.

If you have a problem with the NAT setting being "STRICT" Pm me.

I have never heard anything bad about it, but if your Xbox is in the same room as your router, then why bother? Everything console/internet wise is all in one room at my house, so I just ran the Ethernet cable around the room xD.

mine works but unless you don't have a way to hook it up to the wall, then don't get it.

i have and it works perfectly.   I've played Gears, RR6, and Project 8 online and none of them run any differently than when I was plugged directly into the router.   It works fine.

Two of my friends have it and its works fine for them, no lag other then having a bad host. Just pick your host well and you will never have lag on Xbox Live. Now is it worth it to you. Depending on how far the console is and how long a cable would be to reach your 360.

From the info everyone gave me ( Thanks everyone, BTW) i am deffanintly buying one because the wire is too much of a hassel cuz my 360 is in my room and router is downstairs so that means it would run through the kitchen and family room so thats just too much of a hassel...and my mom hates so much she said she would split the wireless adaptor with me :]

thanks for the info everyone!

As with any wireless connection, you may experience times when it cuts out. From what I've heard, the adapter is good but if your router sucks, then you'll most likely lag. I would just rather hard wire it unless you have no other choice.
