I'd suggest going for Mark of the Ninja, Castle Crashers, Bastion, Spelunky, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, and Shadow Complex.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare. But I'd only recommmend this if you've played the first Alan Wake, otherwise the story makes no sense and you only understand and apprecciate half of the experience

I don't know if XBLA has Stacking, but I know the PSN does and regardless of where you get it, it is a great game. I also highly recommend Limbo. For your PSN games Journey is a hands down must. The Unfinished Swan and Trine are also solid.

yea, fair point, but that is quite time consuming, especially since i want a few. recommendations narrow the search field greatly

plus ive always bought games based off user reviews/recommendations and am happy with it that way

only just got the 360/ps3 out of storage the other day. have never bought or even played a ps3 game to be honest. but when i hooked it up i noticed i have $19 in my wallet on psn ( i bought ff7/10 & medievil years ag0..never played them though)

so need a few games on both psn and xbla

definetely keen on some classic ps1 games but hard to tell what works well there

xbla, there is a lot of choice there, however most look rather...crap lol or, too expensive for what they are.
