btw Halo 3 just didnt feel like it was completely finished. it just felt like something was missing.
so you think 2d tetris is better than halo3, one of the best games ever, and best on 360?sergeantscul

a whole plot and decent ending
Im sorry, freedom of speech you no life f@ggs. If you got a problem i dont give a crap, why would you critizise me critizing you hypocritssergeantscul
what? are you offended that some people think halo 3 is the biggest dissapointment in the series and Halo"CE was the only good one storywise and Halo 2 was the inly good one multiplayer wise.
You shouldnt be judging peoples Opinions. On a Forum, People say what they feel is right. So if Tetris is what they stand for, so be it.
On the other hand, I happen to own an Xbox 360, So I voted for Halo 3.
Yea defenatly halo3 is only the best grossing game cause it sucked.sergeantscul
it's not even the best grossing, and i bought a copy but it was a HUGE disapointment. i was playing Halo 2 more than halo 3 and then CoD4 came out and demolished halo 3 in every aspect.
Last time i checked, me and all my friends cant even join a multiplayer game in gta4 cause its so damn bugged and Halo3 has like what 100K people online atleast 24.7 on multiplay.sergeantscul
only 26,672 people are on right now.....
Call of duty 4 beats halo 3 in every aspect even though its story is not that great eitherbadhoagie91
at least it has an ending
When I saw the title of this thread, I was expecting something witty or ironic in the post itself. If you're going to compare Halo 3 and Tetris, at least be creative or funny about it. Halo 3 and Tetris are so dissimilar, you might as have well compared Halo 3 to anything. Like, "Halo 3, or a solo game of checkers?" "Halo 3, or a bowl of fresh corn flakes?" "Halo 3, or the flu?"
On another note, does Live Arcade have a version of Tetris? I've never looked.Palantas
id on't think so....they really should
so you think 2d tetris is better than halo3, one of the best games ever, and best on 360?sergeantscul
Yes. It's not the best on Xbox, and not even top 10 on the all time list either. Bioshock outscored it and that game didn't even have a multiplayer at all...9.7vs9.5
Plus, Tetris is one of the greatest games of all time. Between my computer and my Cell Phone, I've put more hours into Tetris than any other game.

Well said. I can't tell you the amount of times that playing Tetris saved me from tearing my hair out from boredom. Be it in class under my desk, on a roadtrip, waiting between debate sessions, or at a funeral (just kidding) I have spent over a hundred hours playing Tetris over the years.
It also doesn't have a following of prepubescent 10 year old brats screaming crude words they don't know the meaning of. Halo 3 is not the best game ever made, which can easily be supported by the multitude of "Halo 3 sucks" threads. Halo: Combat Evolved will always be remembered as one of my all time favorite games. But ironic enough, Halo: Combat Evolved was as evolved as the combat was going to get.
Halo was popular because it surpassed the limitations of its time and presented gameplay absent in most other games. But between the years of the original and the sequel, nothing changed while all other games either caught up or achieved superiority.
While Tetris has not changed and its simplicity is evident, its this simplicity which results in its genius. Halo 3 veils its lackluster and self tributary gameplay with new graphics and additional vehicles.
Tetris requires tactical appreciation and spatial reasoning; whereas Halo involves spray and pray gameplay (without aiming) and hoping you reach your enemy and melee him before he punches you in the face. That is not skill, that is mindless button and trigger mashing.
Tetris is also one of the most well known video games next to The Sims and Pacman, its longevity also alludes to its success.
The question is, "which is better?" I say Tetris.
