Hey everyone just posting another topic asking people if they are more excited for Halo REACH or Call of Duty Black Ops. Please fill free to express any opinions you like and I would like to here why you chose the game you chose. ~DropShotz
Halo easily. Im completely burned out on COD and activision is pushing it into full milkage mode which means that its now no better than Madden. New game each year with little to know change.
if i HAD to choose between those two, i'd probably say halo, though i know most of my friends will be buying cod on release day. however, i'm not really excited for either one. it's like going to the movies, i just want some more original stuff. surely the games will be great, but halo is halo and cod is cod. i get it. i remember when halo was touted as a trilogy. who knows if it will end? and i agree with the guy 2 before me in that cod is just like madden now. and forget multiplayer on either. i feel i'm a good gamer, but i go on those and get completely pwnd. it's just not that fun for me, though props to those who are that good. anyway, that's my two cents. (well, maybe 75 cents, i kinda rambled a bit)
Reach, although part of that is due to the fact that I knowe next to nothing about Black Ops and I just prefer Halo in general. Thats not to say I'm not interested in Black Ops though. I'll probably rent it.
I've only been playing Call of Duty for a little while, and I say Halo. People get too worked up on MW2. Plus Halo always improves by leaps and bounds with each game. *Clears throat, kicks Halo Wars under the couch, away from sight* -Always-
I'd definitely have to say that as of right now, I'm more excited about Reach, mainly because I've played the Beta. Just getting a taste of that made me excited for the game. I love both franchises, but the Black Ops hasn't really given me a whole lot to look forward to as of yet. They definitely haven't given me something as tangible as the Reach Beta.
Halo i had no intention of buying it cause i didn't expect much out of it after ODST but its really impressed me I cant take anymore COD there just realized to frequently im sick of dishing out the money every year for a similar game i like my games to last
Neither of 'em, I'm awaiting Fable III, Fallout: New Vegas, Two Worlds II, and so forth, essentially the upcoming RPGs. Also, Rage and Doom 3 are on my radar.

Treyarch did a very good job on World at war (which i think is better than modern warfare), and I am hyped for another of their productions. And for all of the CoD fans, Infinity Ward is folding after the resurgience pack for modern warfare 2. So that leaves Treyarch!
Fallout: New Vegas, all they need to do is take Fallout 3 and give us the amount of quests seen in Oblivion and you have one of the best RPGs in the history of everything.

Um, Doom 3 came out for the origenal Xbox a while ago, what universe did you come from?
Never really played Halo, but I'm probably more excited for that. Call of Duty just recycles the same game set in a different era or story line. Every freaking year! And people still get excited for it , every freaking year! lol
Halo of course MW2 was a huge mess so COD games are just bargain bin purchases. Before someone goes crazy on me I had fun with MW2 but it was far too flawed to be worth $60 for me at least.
Well neither really. Because I haven't played Halo games, and I'm planning on starting, so this one won't be the first I try. And I still haven't bought MW2, so I need to get that first :)
