I heard that one of my freinds is getting an Xbox 360 for christmas and because I'm PS3 owner it would be interesting for me to know what I could expect if I go to his house abit in January 09. If anyone wants to know he's getting the cheapest 360 SKU whichever that is and buying 60gigs of hard drive space.
Its like a dream of buttrflies and faries if you like that stuff it . the only thing i hate is the 10 yearold zit faced punks squealing in the mic and blowing my ear drum. its not that much differnt than the ps3 .

I own a refurb. 360 and a ps3. I have to say I like them both! The 360 is a good system, its a very good multi tasking system. You can play a game and listen to music at the same time. Or even be chating to a friend while your playing a game and he/she could be playing a different game. Its a very good system for its price! Online communities are good but then again theres like alot of jerks there too. Then again xbox live isnt free and you still have to pay for bonuses like maps and stuff >.>; Good games, strong system and worthy for a gamer.

the 360 is a better gaming console imho while the ps3 is a better home entertainment system
both have their pros and cons
i play more on my 360 while my ps3 is used for blueray/dvd and the occasional good exclusive
I also plan to buy a 360 because for now there is no doubt that is has a better game library then the PS3 and nobody is sure how long that will be true and there arent many worthwhile titles on the PS3. Thing is I have a HDTV and I plan to a get 360 with an HDMI port but I've also heard that if it gets a RROD I could end up getting a refurbished Xbox back from MS without a HDMI port. Is it true?.

exactly but take away the part that says "its not that much differnt than the ps3" lol of course it is! 360 rocks. oh and by the way, i have both and feel like i wasted my money on the ps3 but thats just my opinion xD

360 is amazing. RROD is not as big an issue as people make it out to be, i (touchwood) have never had a problem with either of my 360's in 2 years since i got my first one.
In case you are wondering, i have 2 because i bought the Elite when it came out, to take advantage of the HDMI port and bigger hard drive :)
i own all 3 consoles,i hate fanboys sayin 360 owns ps3,theyre better in differant ways,the only point in gettin a 360 if you've got ps3 is if your rich and need to spend some money[like myself],360 is a cracking console tho

As long as you get a newer model 360, the chance of failure is pretty low. And I don't think you would get an Xbox without an HDMI port, and if you did you could probably just complain and get another one.
