whats the deal with gears online

ok so ill join my friends game he hosts and well play, then all of a sudden someone quits because they are mad at losing or being chainsawed or something, then 2 more will follow, so the game ends up being 3 on 2 or 4 on 1 or something, now when the game ends ill go check leaderboards and ill not have anything after playing 50 minutes, and 2 games later the same thing will happen and i will have the points, is there a thing where u only get ur stats if the people quit at a certain round or something?

also another question, if u steal kills will they count towards seriously

i already know about stealing kills, its just when i play eith my friends i steal there kills and they steal mine, i was leaning more towards the first question i asked though, i just figured out that the stealing kills doesnt count
