Hey I have been looking for a good RPG with lots of replay value. I like both JRPGs and Western RPGs. I really liked fallout 3 and oblivion. What would you suggest? And I might get the oblivion expansion packs if you think it is actually worth it. (Have done everything in regular oblivion, haven't played any of the extra content ie. shivering isles, knights of the nine.)

Lost odyssey and Tales of vesperia are the best JRPGs on the xbox 360 as Mass effect is the best WRPG. All are pretty long, fun combat, great characters, pretty good voices, and have a great story.

Just remember though you'll be indoors for a very long time to beat them :P. Lost odyssey and Tales are both around 50 hours and Mass effect is around 25 hours but the story is so epic you'll replay it at least twice.

Lost odyssey because i'm a huge fan of turn-based combat,Jansen is a very funny character, and bosses are more epic and huge. Though both are great and it's like choosing between candy and pizza both are great but one just has a little something extra that gives it the edge.

Yea, it was a long time ago i beat it and it was more fun than any of the original questlines. I think it took about 6 hours to beat.

Tales of Vesperia is the best GAME on the 360 in my opinion. That's how highly I think of it. But I'm sure you can't go wrong with Lost Odyseey (have it, just haven't played it yet). Eternal Sonata and Fallout 3 are also great games.

i understand that you like tales of vesperia ALOT lol, but best game on the 360 ? :?, anyway Lost Odyssey is probably the best JRPG along side Tales of Vesperia IMO.

first off if you did everything in Oblivion and enjoyed it, go and DL the extra content now. SI is the best expansion pack I have ever played. Anyway, as for a good I would go with either Mass Effect or Tales of Vesperia. I wasnt really impressed with Lost Odyssey (though that was probably because I compared it with Final Fantasy X) but Tales and ME really impressed me. Tales is a really long, very good game that will keep you entertained for a good 50-60 hours, while Mass Effect is a less lengthy but more fast-paced WRPG with a fantastic story, not to mention a sequel coming up.

That's why I said "in my opinion." I don't care for shooters like Halo and GoW. I like RPGs, so naturally my favorite game on the system (which would also imply my personal best game on the system) would be an RPG. That RPG just so happens to be ToV.

I agree with him although i do like shooters. My favorite games on the xbox 360 are Lost odyssey,Tales of vesperia, and Mass effect. I have played TF2 for 500 hours which is far more than i played those games but to me an epic singleplayer > Online games in my opinion.

Well I like shooters as well, just not Halo 3 or the Gears games. CoD2 and CoD4 are some of my favorites on the system. I'd just rather play an RPG. Team Fortress 2 is great, but it's been so long since I played that I would just get creamed every round:lol:
