What was your favorite game this year? (Fall release)

I really like Fallout3 but that might change as soon as Left 4 Dead comes out.lilasianwonder

fallout 3 was good but I dindt like it as much as I did Oblivion. I put 125hrs into Oblivion while I put 17 hrs in fallout 3. I also dont like how we can't continueafter we beat the story.

Im still waiting for L4D, but until then...

My favorites, best to worst:

1. Dead Space

2. Silent Hill: Homecoming

3. Gears 2

4. Fallout3

5. BIA HH

(Im assuming left 4 dead will take my favorite)

For me, Gears of War 2.

I loved the original's campaign but never really got into the multi-player, that's not the case for Gears 2 thanks to all the tweaks Epic have made.

Top honors has to go to .....

1.DEAD SPACE by far, perfect story outstanding gameplay and completely creepy

2. Civilization: Revolution

3. Fallout 3

4.Gears Of War 2

5. as a guess would be "Call Of Duty 5" but i have only played the demo

but there is no game even close to DEAD SPACE the clear winner

Fallout 3. I'd made some horrible gaming purchases this year (GTA4 @ $60, Eternal Sonata for $50) and I was starting to think that games this gen were crap on average. Fallout 3 reconfirmed that there are still good games being made and that i'm not horrible at picking games.

Hopefully Mirror's Edge and Prince of Persia will end up more like Fallout and less like GTA4 and Eternal Sonata.

I have not picked up my gears 2 yet :( going to do so tomorrow.

But i am loving ENDWAR! OMG WMD Delta..Bravo, Alpha watever this game is great esp if you know how to play it and use every weapon @ your own advantage.

For me, it has to be either Gears of War 2 or Fallout 3. Both are amazing.
