I'd have to go with a tie between Guitar Hero III and Rock Band. I don't know why the guitar games always have awful and nearly impossible achievements.
What's so bad about Rock Band? While I agree GH3 has a lot of rediculous ones and don't reward you enough for just completing the career, Rock Band seems pretty balanced.
I'd say Tiger Woods 06, personally. Almost all online achievements that were a pain to get, almost none for just playing through the single player game.

so the last achievment should be, Bin Diver award..........for muddling through this crap of a game here is another 250 GP.
Most of the achievments in games are cool, some outlandish cause I really don't play online so much, and some just crazy, like the #1 rank online, thats a tough one to get.
Halo 3, not just for my vitriolic hatred for the game, but also for the fact that many achievements were online based and pretty difficult. (I still don't have the 2 players with one Spartan Laser Blast Achievement.....)
Avatar. Too easy of achievements. Street of Rage 2 has to be the second worst (pick up a weapon, achievement unlocked). Then there's Assasin's creed flag collection.
Beat the game without dieing. Im Good at sonic but beat the game with out dieing once come on. I only die like 2 times and thats on the Labyrinth Level Act 3 and Scrap Brain zone Act 2.

I'd have to agree, but also extend it to any EA Sports title from 2006 with online achievements, since EA took down the servers and made all of those achievements impossible to obtain.
At the other extreme you have games like Avatar, where you feel dirty by getting them all within 3 minutes of playing. Playing might be a bit generous - repeatedly pressing B is perhaps closer to the truth :)
Gears of War, I tried to get some online achievements...but I just don't have the time or patience to kill 10,000 people in ranked matches...psh...xFuryx
I concur...I enjoyed the campaign, however, the mulitplayer is not appealing to me, hence, me never being able to attain those achievements.
I have to agree with some of the other people here. Any game that has achievements requiring online play. Its unreasonable to expect some one to kill ten thousand people in ranked matches for an achievement. :D

GH3? That's my first guitar game and dude, even for me it's not impossible.
gears of war multiplayer achievements...it said to kill 10,000 ppl wen u really need to kill like 15,000 to get the achievement thats ridiculous,the same for the weapon achievements it said to kill 100 ppl with a certain weapon wen u need to kill like 200 ppl with the weapon:evil:
GEARS OF WAR Multiplayer achievements. If you have a game with 8 people in ranked and just 3 Quit all of the kills and things you did in the match don't count but they are still forwarded to your kill count. Like right now the Ranked leaderboards say I have 250 executions and their is an achievement for killing 100 people with executions and I STILL have not unlocked it. It is just stupid.
Oh yeah and shadowrun. you have to play 400 games for just 40 achivement points and each match lasts more then 20 minutes it is just crazy to think that you have enough time to do that.
Rumble Roses XX has really stupid achievements that just take too much time to go for. And I agree with the online thing, I hate online achievements since I don't play games online.
guitar hero hands down beat through the fire and flames on expert just to get a little gamerscore. and ditto on the online thing it messed up to put online achievements when not everyone (including me) has Xbox live.
