it has somthing to do with halo, thats all i know... it would be sooo cool if it was like a whole new third person shooter, except still with the mastercheif and it kinda like R6V where you like actually take cover behind walls and stuff idk
Bungie obviously shouldn't end the series since it's a huge money-maker (and I suppose there's always the hope that a Halo game will actually live up to the hype for once). But if it's always Halo this, Halo that, people will inevitably get fed up (just look at the reaction to the underwhelming beta; you can't simply attach the name Halo to it and expect everyone to just eat it up).
Bungie needs to work on some other franchises/games as well, because they're limited in what they can ultimately do when it comes to the Halo universe. That's one of the biggest reasons Halo 3 is so similar to 2, not just that it's a successful formula that they didn't want to modify. They also just can't really do much else with it in terms of true innovation, or it could cease (in their eyes and probably most fans) to feel like a Halo game. Bungie needs to branch out and do some other stuff, too. Square doesn't only make Final Fantasy games. Rockstar doesn't only make GTA games.
Im gonna guess they will go the way of Epic and make a multiplayer only shooter with the artstyle and looks of halo, and they should call it something like Halo Assault or something. This will still make the fact that Halo3 is the last of the trilogy stand true and lots of people like the halo multiplayer so why not?
Some kinda new Halo game like i dunno Halo: A New Beginning or Halo: 3 Evolved or somethin lol i dunno but its gonna have somethin to do with the Halo series :P
Yeah, anything is possible. A sargent Johnson game, Pre-Fall of reach game, maybe redo marathon. Personnally I hope they branch into a FPS with RPG elements, rather then just a run and gun. We will see........
They should make a game that focus on the Halo online multiplayer. Exclusive maps, more custimization, more characters, co-op, and maps designed for co-op, and things like that. Just a game all about Halo's multiplayer.
Probably what they were talking about a long time ago, like Project Phoenix or something like that. I don't recall any details. I am actually hoping for something that does not resemble Halo. As much as I like Halo, let's keep Halo to be Halo and nothing more... with the exception of Halo Wars and that Peter Jackson project.
A first person shooter/ RPG like Dues Ex would be nice, but it might not be able to compete with BioShock. I dunno. Maybe a really awesome horror FPS game.
