There are too many shooters and more mature games on the 360 today. I have plenty of those and just wants some fun games to play that aren't shooting and M rated. Cartoony based graphics and things like that. Any genre would do just what are the best and fun games? (no arcade titles please)

Honestly I dont think 360 has much of a selection when it comes to kids games/non violent. Then again I dont really look for those on the 360. Guess thats why I own a Wii too.

I would say Viva Pinata and Kameo: Elements of Power are both fun games. I think you can download demo's for each of them on marketplace.

Yeah, you have the wrong system if those are the games you want to play. Trade it in for a Wii or DS.

Burnout Paradise and the majority of the racing games are fairly child-friendly (as long as your parents are ok with you crashing virtual cars that is.)

I guess another obvious suggestion is any of the LEGO games; good co-op and even quite funny for adults.

It may sound like a bit of an obvious choice but Viva Pinata is actually a really good game. Give it a try.

You make a point. Look at E3, it was all cinematic mature games.

There are a lot of 'family' games on Xbox360 you just need to know where to look, aside from those already mentioned above the Lego games and Crash Bandicoot are good ones to look at :)

Street Fighter IV is pretty child friendly discounting Chun Li's panty hose or Seth's 'stomach'.You can also look at the Lego series.

um... well, that pretty much ended most of the options I would have gave you. I think the best games that are not 'M' come from the arcade. But Eternal Sonata, Rock Bands, Sid Meirs Civ Revolution, Oblivion (if you ignore the Dark Brother hood, I find very little questionable in this game), Portal (I know it is an arcade game, but it also comes on the Orange box, so I still think it is valid)... I think someone said it best though, just get a Wii.

the lego games are very fun and incorporate a lot of puzzles along with action adventure. also if you'll play a non mature shooting game you should check out Quantum of Solace which is very fun.

I already have a wii and needed some good titles to rent next weekend because of a graduation party with many younger kids being at an adult party... Thanks for the selection.

If you already have a Wii, then why are you looking to get children games for the Xbox 360? There are only very few and they're only average at best, if you really want the kids to have a fun experience then go and buy them a few games for the Wii instead. That is seriously the best advice I can give you. Unless you want to rent Viva Pinata or a few racing games for them to play.

I would just say start them off with Halo and teach them how not to scream into the mic or randomly sing songs. Have a crash course on proper gaming, so in a few years when they start playing, you'll save our ears a bit. I'll send you over a purple heart and everything.
