I've been using my Elite controller with Halo 5 mostly. It just occurred to me that locking the right trigger might be very useful in Fallout 4 because there are numerous occasions in the game that require you to press the right trigger repeatedly. So far it's proving very useful, and I cannot think of a situation where you need to "press and hold right trigger". Anyone else noticed this?

Edit: actually I just realized automatic weapons, flamethrowers require you to hold the right trigger, but flame thrower works fine.....I'll have to try an automatic but I don't really use those.

In your opinion, how do you find the Elite controller as a whole. My brother is planning to buy an Xbox One,games,P&C Kit,etc... I was just want to hear a couple of opinions on it because I don't know if the Elite controller will be to complex for me or my brother?Looks complicated,or is it just me??Can you/someone give your honest opinion and help me make a decision. Thanks You for your reply.

I personally didn't think it was worth the $$ (I returned mine)... it's a pretty specialised product but a very solid & well built one however. And yeah, it definitely takes a bit of getting used to (I never got used to the paddles).

My peronal opinion would be to only buy it if you or your brother are big MP gamers and can make proper use of the extra buttons and customisation. Otherwise I'd recommend sticking to the normal controller.

Thank You for your opinion.I was thinking maybe I will stick with the standard controller like you said.I don't like playing games, doing PC/console setup,etc.. where you need to have the smarts to be a brain surgeon.I love multiplayer games but my brother does not,in fact he don't know much on how mp games play/work.So I think I'll take your advice and save my money.Thank You again.

"Elite controller with Fallout 4"

The click-bait is strong with you. A powerful thread creator you have become...

Seriously, I thought somewhere was selling the Elite controller, but only if purchased with Fallout 4. :D

@xisiuizado: hehe lol key words kind of like when I google search :) I changed it a little now

@brimmul777: You got some good advice there already I love mine but the way I see it is a luxury item, it feels great and is very customizable, but I don't know if that is necessarily worth 150$ to you. It is not complicated to use, just something you're probably not used to seeing/using.

Thank You for your reply also.I do find $150 for a customized controller a little bit steep. For myself,it's not like I have $150 lying around somewhere that I'm not using.I think if I do get that Elite controller or another like it,I'll just wait for a price cut.
